Showered with LOVE!

On Saturday my Mom, sisters, BFF Jaime and Bible Study girls threw me an awesome diaper shower! With Trace coming in a few weeks we need all the diapers and supplies we can get! Everyone did a phenomenal job and really exceeded any expectations I had! I love that we have so many great and creative friends. Trace and Trenton are very lucky to be surrounded by so many people that love them!

This was the Diaper/Don’t Say Baby game! Amy Crisp you have a creative talent that is beyond belief!

34 Weeks

 

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far: 34 Weeks

Size of Baby: He is about 18 inches long and weighs about 4.75 lbs. He is the size of an average cantaloupe.

Total Weight Gain: 23 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable. Would like to go naked at all times!

Movement: Trace moves all day long! I feel like he is doing half flips and elbows are flying everywhere! Sometimes the kicks take my breath away (which scares Gene)!

Food Cravings: Chocolate Icecream with fresh strawberries

What I Miss: Cool weather! Sitting comfortably! Seeing my feet! Not having to pee every time I stand up! Being able to breath!

Sleep: I sleep for a couple hours at a time, wake up hot, go potty, back to sleep. Nice routine to get me ready for a newborn!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: Trace got an elephant that plays music from one of the showers. Well Trenton carries it around and calls him Baby Trace. He even showed me how to hold him gently and feed him his bottle! He is going to be an awesome Big Brother!

What I am looking forward to: My shower from friends

Doctor Appointment: 9/22 went well. Had to sit in the waiting room for an hour while Dr. McBride delivered a baby! BP looks great, weight looks great and Trace is growing right on schedule!

Next Doctor Appointment: October 6, 2010 (Doctor said to have my bags in the car just in case) ONLY 21 DAYS TO GO AT THIS APPOINTMENT!!

One BLESSED little boy….

Today the incredible ladies I work with threw me a shower! I have learned that second babies don’t get nearly the cool gifts as the first one, but these ladies did a great job! Trace has plenty of diapers, wipes, bath stuff and clothes! Trenton even got a cute little “Big Brother” gift! He is going to be so excited! The ladies closed the office and we enjoyed lunch, good conversation and plenty of gifts! Gene and I know how lucky we are to have such great jobs with people who care about us. I don’t think sweet little Trace knows what a big fan club he already has! Thank you Maxim for the shower and gifts! I will miss everyone while I am out on maternity leave!

So I had to sneak a peak at Trenton’s Big Brother present and it was candy, candy, candy, this AWESOME CB Shirt and more candy!

I am also taking home a huge thing of balloons for Trenton to enjoy! Thank you to all of the ladies who made this shower possible and for everyone who gave us gifts! I just don’t know how we would make it without such an incredible support system!

33 Weeks

I even let the belly hang out the bottom because that’s usually what it looks like when I am home!

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far: 33 Weeks

Size of Baby: He is about 17 inches long and weighs about 4 lbs. He is the size of a pineapple.

Total Weight Gain: 21 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable. Would like to go naked at all times!

Movement: I am getting some mighty painful kicks and turns all day!

Food Cravings: Cherry Coke. Not much room for food these days!

What I Miss: Cool weather! Sitting comfortably! Seeing my feet! Not having to pee every time I stand up!

Sleep: I sleep for a couple hours at a time, wake up hot, go potty, back to sleep. Nice routine to get me ready for a newborn!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: Trenton has discovered if you put toys on my belly Trace will kick them. So the other night I had Spider Man and 3 other super heros on my tummy and he would say “Kickem’ baby Trace, Kickem’”

What I am looking forward to: My shower at work

32 Weeks

How Far: 32 Weeks

Size of Baby: He is about 16.7 inches long and weighs about 3.75 lbs. He is the size of large jicama.

Total Weight Gain: 20 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable

Movement: He is very active right after my morning coffee and right before bed! He loves to hear his Daddy and Big Brother talk! He is starting to drop more too!

Food Cravings: Chocolate dipped oreos (my MIL left some at our house…shame on her!) and Cherry Coke

What I Miss: Cool weather! Sitting comfortably! Seeing my feet!

Sleep: Sleep has been rough lately. I feel like my belly is heavy when I lay on my side, even with a body pillow! Lately I have found a position that takes up the whole bed and I sleep all night! Sorry honey!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: He asked me if he could go outside and before I could respond he said “Maybe not, No, You Tummy hurt” and just smiled! Oh this sweet boy doesn’t miss a thing!

What I am looking forward to: Finish Painting nursery (Thanks to my awesome sister) and organizing clothes!

Doctor Appointment: Everything looks good, strong heartbeat, good weight gain! On track for October 27!

Next Doctor Appointment: September 22 – 34 weeks! Huge milestone for me!!

Picture Day

How handsome and grown up does he look for his school pictures! His teacher said that the photographer had so much fun with him and that his pictures are going to be amazing! She said they took more pictures of him than anyone else!! How funny! And they even made him a little more GQ by untucking his under shirt to show a little! His Montessori school uses the Picture People so I can’t wait to see them!

By the way I LOVE Fall and Winter. I love the clothes and cool weather! His outfit reminded me that fall is around the corner!

31 Weeks

How Far: 31 Weeks

Size of Baby: He is about 16 inches long and weighs about 3.3 lbs. He is the size of 4 navel oranges.

Total Weight Gain: 20 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable

Movement: He is very active right after my morning coffee and right before bed! He loves to hear his Daddy and Big Brother talk! He is starting to drop more too!

Food Cravings: Chocolate dipped oreos (yet I haven’t given in) and Cherry Coke

What I Miss: Cool weather! Sitting comfortably! Seeing my feet!

Sleep: Sleep has been rough lately. I feel like my belly is heavy when I lay on my side, even with a body pillow! Lately I have found a position that takes up the whole bed and I sleep all night! Sorry honey!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: He kisses my belly every morning and every evening! He told said Trace was going to be super big like him one day!

What I am looking forward to: Getting nursery together (still haven’t started, but decided EXACTLY what I am going to do) My sister is coming over Sunday to help me paint and organize!

Doctor Appointment: Not one this week due to work schedule!

Next Doctor Appointment: September 8 – I am on twice a month appointments, but with my work schedule we had to move this one out a week!

Our Version of Toy Story

Trenton has a lot of toys and a HUGE imagination. He asked me to put his train together and set up his toys so he can play toy story. He is so funny! I love having kids because it let’s you act like a kid too (sometimes!). We had such a great time pretending the transformers were going to attack the people on the train while Spider Man and the other super heroes protected the city! Usually Trenton’s train tracks would be demolished in a few seconds, but I think he enjoys playing now that he can pretend his train is under attack!

I think we managed to cover every disney movie on this train table!

There were two Spider Men and one was the bad guy!

Optimus Prime was watching closely over the spiral train tracks!

I love that Trenton pretends and loves to play with action figures! He is growing up so fast and although this may be a silly memory it’s one I always want to remember!

30 Weeks

Total Weight Gain: 19 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable

Movement: He is very active right after my morning coffee and right before bed! He loves to hear his Daddy and Big Brother talk! I think he flipped this week and man was it interesting!

Food Cravings: Chocolate dipped oreos (yet I haven’t given in) and Cherry Coke

What I Miss: Cool weather! Sitting comfortably! Seeing my feet!

Sleep: Sleep has been rough lately. I feel like my belly is heavy when I lay on my side, even with a body pillow! Lately I have found a position that takes up the whole bed and I sleep all night! Sorry honey!
