Hoppy Easter

After a long 3 days of not seeing my baby I was so happy to be back in Houston. We enjoyed Easter morning with Grandpa and Grandma Flores and then headed to Nana and Paw paws for BBQ, fun and egg hunting! I love my big family and I am so happy that Trenton gets to see his cousins all of the time!

The Easter Bunny brought Trenton some great treats! Not a lot of toys because he knew that Trenton just had a HUGE birthday party!

Cute couple! (Finger in mouth not nose!)      I remember last year when Trenton couldn’t  even walk on his own to gather the eggs! Sure it made for fun pictures w/Mom and Dad, but this year was so much more fun because Trenton was running with all of the big kids to get the eggs! Here is our little guy in action!

We had a great Easter and hope your family did too! The weather was such a blessing for our little ones. I love to see our family grow up and watch how they all become their own little people! I feel blessed that my family all know how important it is to spend this time together!! We missed my younger sister Kim because she had to work! Thanks Mom & Dad for the awesome lunch/dinner!

I decided to take Trenton to the park in League City to try and get some Easter pictures! He looked so handsome in his collared shirt and vest! We didn’t get near the awesome fountains because a family was there FOREVER taking their family photos! We seriously waited around for about 45 minutes before I gave up! will go back later to get those if I really want to! Trenton did well and the weather was nice! Enjoy!

Happy Birthday “2” Trenton!!

We woke up Saturday morning to celebrate Trenton’s 2nd birthday! We decided to make eggs and biscuits! Trenton wanted to help so of course it being his special day I let him! What a yummy breakfast we made!

We decided to have Trenton’s party at the park again. It is so much easier than trying to squeeze a bunch of kids and adults into our house/yard! PLUS its a FREE place to have a party! Thank you so much to everyone who came to celebrate Trenton’s special day! My sister is an AWESOME baker. She makes cakes for our family occasions and she so kindly made Trenton’s cake this year! The theme was ABC’s so we decided to make a HUGE ABC block with Trenton’s initials and a big 2 on top. Not only was it the cutest thing I have ever seen…it was DELICIOUS! My sister has a talent…she should open a bakery!

I AM TWO!!!!

After the party we headed back to our house to spend some well deserved time with the Flores family. We had so much fun just hanging out at the house opening ALL of Trenton’s new toys! Grandma and Grandpa bought Trenton a tent playhouse and we could not get him out! They also stocked his entire summer wardrobe! So I shouldn’t be shopping for him any time soon…..RIGHT?!?

They are so cute! This shot took like an hour to get! AND its still not great!!!!

We really wanted to get Trenton a power wheel for his birthday. We went back and forth for weeks on size, style, brand…blah blah blah! We decided to get the big one and he can grow into it AND it was a big hit! After Gene’s family headed back home we went to Santa Fe to visit the Scalise’s, eat crawfish and watch Trenton ride for hours!

After about an hour or so of straight riding, the boys decided to wrap things up and head inside!!

We had so much fun seeing everyone and the weather was so nice. I can’t wait for summer to get here so we can enjoy water, BBQ and good times with friends and family!!!

F is for FRIENDS!

Well Trenton and I had a busy weekend. We decided to take a road trip together to go visit our friends that live in Austin. We had our bags packed and loaded, DVD player on and off we went. We were able to get out of town and to Pflugerville in no time! This was our first out of town trip together and I have to say it was quite a success. Trenton told me about ALL of the cows he would see and the “flowders” as we passed. I was so proud of my little man. As many of you know he is not a fan of the car seat. AND as I found it is amazing what you can do with one arm!! Our first stop Friday night was to the Patterson’s. Our friends the Midyett’s and Cooley’s were there too. It was so nice to finally get to meet the Midyett Twins!! They are sooooo adorable. Makes me want to have another baby! We enjoyed fajitas and great company while the kiddoes played and then went to bed!! Friday morning Trenton and I headed to Austin to see the Cooley’s. They were watching Trenton for me so I could go out with my BFF Jaime for her bachelorette party. They are pregnant and eager to watch him! They had a blast. Now I am sure the question everyone has is Where are the pictures? Well I don’t have any. I was having too much fun catching up with friends that I never even thought about the camera! Sorry!!!

On the way home Trenton did pretty good, again! We decided to stop and take some pictures with the bluebonnets. I am going to be trying this again some time soon because the combination of cars flying by and a bunch of weird flowers being around Trenton he kind of freaked out! Here are some pics:

Ok so remember how I said Trenton was Ok on the way back, well he went through a couple of emotional roller coasters. As I was driving I took a few snap shots! I need proof when this child is older and swears he loved to travel!

When we got home Daddy was so excited that he decided to BBQ for us! So nice because I was so tired and just wanted to relax! Trenton decided to play in the backyard while we hung out! I know it sounds like I am shocked, but Trenton has had this playground since Christmas and rarely plays on it himself! I was super excited to finally see it getting some use!

Our friend Jake came over and decided to push Trenton around in his car and he started to fall asleep! LOL! We could not stop laughing!

We are really looking forward to this weekend!! Trenton’s 2nd birthday party! ABC is the theme!! Yeah!! I can’t believe my baby is turning 2 AND he has moved into the Big Boy class at school!!!
