Pregnancy Highlights

How Far: 36 Weeks

Size of Baby: He is over 18.5 inches long and weighs about 6 lbs. He is the size of a crenshaw melon.

Total Weight Gain: 23.5 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable. Would like to go naked at all times!

Movement: He moves a lot all day and then in the evening he moves into some special position which causes me to throw up for about an hour!

Food Cravings: No room for food. Not even cherry coke!

What I Miss: Sitting comfortably! Standing for long periods of time without feeling like I walked a marathon!

Sleep: I have been sleeping awesome once I am done with all the puking!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: I had my phone on my tummy last night and he asked “Is my brother kicking your phone” Me “Yes” T “Can I watch?” He loves to watch his brother move!

He also got new shoes and Trace has the same ones and he tells EVERYONE he sees that him and his brother have the same shoes!

What I am looking forward to: My bedding coming in!! Meeting my little man in 19 DAYS!

Doctor Appointment: Everything looked good. Trace is weighing close to 7lbs they estimate right now. I think my nurses words were “WOW you have a big baby in there”

Next Doctor Appointment: October 13, 2010 (Doctor said to have my bags in the car just in case) ONLY 14 DAYS TO GO AT THIS APPOINTMENT!!

BOO! Halloween Craft

Every year we do a sweet Halloween craft for the kids to enjoy! Ok, lets me realistic, the Mom’s enjoy the craft much more than the kids!! This year Amy and Kim came up with the idea of making ghost canvas’s. It was a super cute idea! Trenton was not too interested in painting his feet so we made ghost hands or spider hands…which ever! It’s so fun to do these little crafts using their feet/hands so we can always remember how tiny they once were!!

Trenton was very involved with painting the letters on the canvas

I think we did a great job although we had to change it up a bit!

The boys Ryan and Trenton decided to act like babies and play under Evans play yard! If only they had enjoyed it this much when they were babies!

35 Weeks

I may be totally delusional, but I feel like i look smaller in this picture than last week. I think he lays different now!

Total Weight Gain: 23.5 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable. Would like to go naked at all times!

Movement: Although he may not have room to move he still manages to punch pretty hard and I guess he moved yesterday which is causing me to feel nauseas at all times!

Food Cravings: No room for food. Not even cherry coke!

What I Miss: Sitting comfortably! Standing for long periods of time without feeling like I walked a marathon!

Sleep: Sleep is some what unheard of these days. I can’t get comfy, my belly hurts, my back hurts and my 3 year old wants to climb in bed and snuggle with me a lot!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: Trenton asked me to sit with him to watch TV and I said “Where is baby Trace going to sit?” He scooted over and said “Right there Mommy”. Before he would say with his own Mommy and Daddy!

What I am looking forward to: My bedding coming in!! Shower with my sweet neighbor buddies!

Doctor Appointment: No doctor appointment this week!

Next Doctor Appointment: October 6, 2010 (Doctor said to have my bags in the car just in case) ONLY 21 DAYS TO GO AT THIS APPOINTMENT!!

Showered with LOVE!

On Saturday my Mom, sisters, BFF Jaime and Bible Study girls threw me an awesome diaper shower! With Trace coming in a few weeks we need all the diapers and supplies we can get! Everyone did a phenomenal job and really exceeded any expectations I had! I love that we have so many great and creative friends. Trace and Trenton are very lucky to be surrounded by so many people that love them!

This was the Diaper/Don’t Say Baby game! Amy Crisp you have a creative talent that is beyond belief!

The cake my sister Laurie made. As you can see there is a lot of camo at this shower which is the primary pattern in his nursery!

34 Weeks

 

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far: 34 Weeks

Size of Baby: He is about 18 inches long and weighs about 4.75 lbs. He is the size of an average cantaloupe.

Total Weight Gain: 23 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable. Would like to go naked at all times!

Movement: Trace moves all day long! I feel like he is doing half flips and elbows are flying everywhere! Sometimes the kicks take my breath away (which scares Gene)!

Food Cravings: Chocolate Icecream with fresh strawberries

What I Miss: Cool weather! Sitting comfortably! Seeing my feet! Not having to pee every time I stand up! Being able to breath!

Sleep: I sleep for a couple hours at a time, wake up hot, go potty, back to sleep. Nice routine to get me ready for a newborn!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: Trace got an elephant that plays music from one of the showers. Well Trenton carries it around and calls him Baby Trace. He even showed me how to hold him gently and feed him his bottle! He is going to be an awesome Big Brother!

What I am looking forward to: My shower from friends

Doctor Appointment: 9/22 went well. Had to sit in the waiting room for an hour while Dr. McBride delivered a baby! BP looks great, weight looks great and Trace is growing right on schedule!
