Catcher

Trenton got to play catcher in our last 2 games. The first game was hilarious because he had never put catching gear on in his life. He kept telling Gene he couldn’t walk. He dodged the ball most of the first game, but still did a great job! In his second game to play he did awesome! He blocked a few balls, but still didn’t grasp the concept of covering the plate when someone was trying to score. I think for his first couple of tries he did awesome and he looked so cute in all that gear! He has really enjoyed t-ball this year and his coaches have made it a phenomenal experience for him!

Warming up!

Corpus 001

Couldn’t you just eat him up! He looks so grown up in this picture! Maybe he will be an awesome catcher like his Uncle Luis one day or a pretty incredible pitcher like his Dad!

Would you like fries with that?

On game days we usually grab something quick for dinner, head home, eat, change and head to the game. Trace is my little french-fry eater! I think he would eat a large fries and nothing else if I let him!

Yumm-o! Doesn’t this look good?

May 2012 003

Concentrating very hard to make sure he doesn’t drop any of his golden fries!

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far: 28 Weeks

Size of Baby: She is about 2.25 lbs and is about 14.8 inches in length. He is about the size of a chinese cabbage!

Total Weight Gain: 7 lbs

Gender: Girl! Peyton Ryleigh

Maternity Clothes: I am still able to wear my band with my normal pants, but I do wear maternity pants every now and then. I wear dresses mostly on the weekend.

Movement: Mostly active at night!

Food Cravings: Nothing special, but BBQ does not settle well.

What I Miss: My patience and good skin!

Sleep: Sleep has been rough lately. I feel like my belly is really heavy when I lay on my side, even with a body pillow!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: Well Trace likes to lift up my shirt and blow strawberries on my belly. He now likes to lift up my shirt and head butt my stomach. Poor Peyton is in trouble.

What I am looking forward to: Getting nursery together

Doctor Appointment: Went well. Gained 3 lbs. My platelet count is considerably low because of the disorder I have. My glucose test was super low, but I at least passed! I had to give another sample of blood to see where my platelet count is this month.

I am totally cracking up in this picture because as I am taking it both boys are running towards me to get in the shot. So hilarious!

My Middle Child

Trace will be 18 months old at the end of this week! I cannot believe how fast he is growing up. He has a little mean streak to him, but his kindness outweighs those bad moments any day. This morning we were getting ready to leave for school and he saw my camera. He pointed to it say “cheeeeese”. I hope my sweet little girl is a photogenic as her brothers!

Please notice that Trace is no longer wearing or sucking on a pacifier! About 2 weeks ago I asked his pre-school to not give it to him if they could avoid it. Well Sunday at church we lost it and I refused to buy more. He has gone 3 solid nights with no pacifier and no fight! Sometimes in this chaotic little world we live in something goes smoothly!

How handsome is this little face!

He has his snack for the car ride to school, too bad seconds before we left he dumped them all over my bedroom floor. Nice mess waiting for me when I get home today!

April 2012 1 002

He is so serious! I love his little tan skin and almost blonde hair! Both boys are into getting their hair spiked in the mornings. I guess it’s just good practice for when sister gets here! I will get to do all kinds of fun stuff to her hair!!
