The last couple of weeks have been rough. We started off with a cough that decided to stick around for 4+ days and cause us to take Visit #1 to see the Pedi! We got some meds and as we started to get over the cough we woke up with Pink Eye in both eyes! This caused a call in to the Dr for prescription #2! Pink Eye quickly went away and we thought we were on our way to freedom when…..I was up all night with Trenton screaming and running a 102.4 temperature with little relief from Motrin and Tylenol! This lead to Visit #2 and prescription #3! Whew! The Dr assured me we are DONE! Geez I hope so! It has been a rough few weeks!
Well here is how Sunday went:
Go to church, come home and take a nap….Wake up from nap to an even crankier Trenton, but NO FEVER so….
We bundled up and went outside to play on our swing set!
We even went outside to play with bubbles!! BTW: The hat was Trenton’s doing!
After my sleepless night Trenton and I went to the doctor, Target and then back home for a much needed nap (that didn’t happen until several hours later!) We decided to bust out the Play-dough and the new accessories we bought today at Target and have fun! It wasn’t as bad as I expected! Trenton had a blast! I bought him the baking set!
Trenton relaxing watching Happy Feet (new favorite of the month)
Notice the face and the spots on his shirt….MEDICINE vs TRENTON (not sure who won?!?)
And totally off subject of my already scatter brained blog. Trenton wanted to wear Daddy’s hat tonight! How cute!
Trenton and Daddy also have a new evening routine! Daddy gets home and Trenton hands him his golf club and says “Ball, Daddy, Ball?!” He loves to chase the golf balls as Gene hits them in the front yard! It is nice that they are developing their own little things! It’s so hard with Gene coaching all of the time!
