Trenton you are officially 2 1/2 years old! You have grown and learned so much over the last couple of years. You can always bring a smile to my face and warm my heart with your smile. At 2 1/2 you can:
- Count to 10 in English & Spanish
- Sing ABC’s (through G the T through Z)
- Recite the book Brown Bear
- Can identify all of your colors (red is sometime yellow and vice versa)
- Identify all animals and the sound they make
- You know all of your shapes
- Catch a baseball with and without a glove
- Hit a baseball when we throw it to you
- Punt a football (really any ball)
- Potty all by yourself (working on #2)
- LOVE Playhouse Disney and Nick Jr –and you can identify every character (you probably watch too much TV)
- Watch Kung Fu Panda, Madasagascar 2 and Land Before Time 2 about 100 times a weekend
- Put your shoes, pants and shirt on all by yourself
- You love to color
- Playdough RULES YOUR WORLD on a rainy day
- Drive your John Deer tractor with total control
- Learned to blame friends
- You have such a big imagination
- Pretend like you are a lion at any minute
- Favorite toys Magnadoodle, Cars and Trains
- Favorite breakfast is waffels (you call them faffles)
- Favorite snack is Granola bar or yogurt
- Favorite dinner hotdogs and strawberries
- Happy Birthday is currently your favorite song
- Tumble Bus is your favorite part of the week at school
- You sleep in a big boy bed and usually make it the whole night
- Feed Slugger every morning and every afternoon
- Still carry a blanky
- Cuddle with Mommy every night
Trenton-ISMS
- When I tell you to stop doing something you reply with “I’m not sure Mommy”
- Daddy taught you to say “I’m a mexicano” and you repeat it all the time
- When Mommy says “Stop whining, please” you tell her “No be rude Mommy”
- Anytime you have a boo-boo you tell me “Jacob did it”
- You are very bossy – you tell us “Stay there, I be back”
- When I ask you who did it you say “Tenton did it”
- Every morning on the way to school you ask me “We go Bwady’s house” “We go G’s house” “No school Mommy, I go to Bwady’s”
- Ask almost every 5 minutes “I get cheeseburger Mommy?”
- Call Mosquitoes “Skeeta Bugs”
- Insist on everyone in our house eats a “icesicle” (popsicle) every night
No toys necessary to keep you happy! You love to click cups together at the football games!
You think it’s hilarious to empty your toy box and jump off of it onto your bed! You are 100% boy!
You love to eat “Nola bar” and wear your “packpack” to school!

I have decided this year to let Trenton pick out his own Halloween costume. I feared he would pick Dora because he LOVES her, but instead he picked Spider Man! 
I guess the cute and fuzzy days are over! 
And what morning wouldn’t be complete with out your accessories. You love to wear Mommy’s necklaces and bracelets. It’s ok for now (as long as Dad doesn’t see you)
You are growing so fast and learning so much. I hope you always kiss & hug me (even if your friends are around), tell me you love me and never feel embarrassed by me! I know these are all wishful thinking, but you are my sweet boy and I am so blessed to be your Mommy!
