Brandon Backe played in the Clearbrook Baseball Golf tournament that Gene holds every year as his big fundraiser. In the goody bags there was an Astros hat. I asked Trenton if he wanted to get his autograph and he said “sure”. When he asked Brandon Backe for an autograph he said “I will sign your hat if you will give me a piece of your candy” to which Trenton replied “NO, that’s ok”. WOW! That’s a kid that likes his candy. In the end he shared his candy, got a signed hat and a picture!

Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon week is October 22-26. Each day there is a different theme to remind kids the importance of not doing drugs. I think it’s a total bummer they removed the D.A.R.E. Program from school, but at least they are keeping RRW going!
- Monday – Crazy Sock Day
- Tuesday – Favorite Sports Team
- Wednesday – Wear Camo
- Thursday – Red, White & Blue
- Friday – Crazy Hair Day
My neighbor Tasha is good at taking pictures of the kids in the morning! I didn’t get a picture from everyday, but here are all of the kids a couple of days!
Sports Team – Trenton wore is FL Gators hat
Trenton informed me at 8pm last night that he wanted to spray his hair red for school. I was saved by Tasha once again who happened to be at Party City! She grabbed red paint and he was able to join in the fun!
Crazy Hair Day!
Fall Festival 2012
Every year we have attended the Gilmore Fall Festival, but this year was special because it was Trenton’s Kinder year so he had a ton of friends up there. We even ran into his teacher! Gene joined us this year because let’s face it handling 3 kids in a public place just isn’t easy for 1 person. We took turns helping the boys with the games and sweet Peyton pretty much slept the entire time we were there. The weather was beautiful. I didn’t get my camera out much, but I was able to capture a few cute moments!
Trace playing ball toss
My little Gilmore Gator trying to open his “prize” he just won
He is very proud of what he won!
I need to make note of the steri-strips over his eye. He was riding the neighbors bike before church the weekend before and flipped off. The handle bar went right into his eye. It was pretty bad. I took him to the doctor because he was complaining of bad headaches and he had a mild concussion and had to glue his small laceration together! It healed nicely though!
How do you convince your child to get out of the never ending face painting line? The one you stood in for 30+ minutes and never MOVED? You buy him junk from the school store and cotton candy!
Dad has the same love for sugar that this little boy has! They are 2 peas in a pod!
The Coogs were playing this day so Princess was all dressed up in her Cougar gear! She looks so darn cute.
