Ready To Pop – Shower

On Saturday my friends and family hosted a shower for sweet baby Peyton! This little girl is blessed beyond belief and we cannot thank everyone enough for all of the generous gifts we have received. My sister Laurie & Jaime hosted the cutest shower every! The theme was Ready to Pop so there was Popcorn, Oreo Pops, Cake Pops, Popcorn chicken…everything was so awesome. My friend Amy did a ridiculously cute job on the invites and food cards. She is very talented and I am so lucky to have her as a friend! Thanks to the help of my Pinterest addiction I was able to assist my sister in creating this set up, but she & Jaime get all of the credit because they worked their tails off while I got some much needed cuddle time with Cannon!

We hosted the shower at my house since Jaime lives in Austin, Laurie lives in Katy and well everyone I pretty much know live by me. It was an honor to host at my house!

We had Kettle Corn, Savory Cheddar & Caramel Popcorn. The OREO POPS were to die for!

My oh my the belly looks HUGE in these pictures!

I finally got to meet with Sweet Cannon! He and Peyton are going to be such a sweet little couple one day!

We were so lucky that Trace went down for a nap and stayed asleep the entire shower. He really showed me how sweet he could be with baby Cannon and it makes me so relieved to know that he might not react nearly as bad as I thought to Peyton. Thank you to everyone who made the shower and who love us so much! Without every lady above and several more who couldn’t make it Saturday I don’t think I would be able to survive day to day!

Office Shower

I work with the sweetest, kindest and most giving group of people in the world. I love that they did not hesitate to LOAD me up with pink girly stuff only a couple of short years after we just had a baby! Peyton got so much more than we could have ever asked for and I am very grateful to work for the company I do!

35 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far: 35 Weeks

Size of Baby: She is a little over 5 lbs and is about 18 inches in length. She is about the size of a honeydew melon!

Total Weight Gain: 7 lbs

Gender: Girl! Peyton Ryleigh

Maternity Clothes: I am still able to wear my band with my normal pants, but I do wear maternity pants every now and then. I wear dresses mostly on the weekend. My shirts are starting to ride up at the bottom….

Movement: This girl likes to move all day and all night!

Food Cravings: Anything cold and salads because it is starting to get really HOT already this summer

What I Miss: My patience and energy!

Sleep: Sleep has been rough lately. I feel like my belly is really heavy when I lay on my side, even with a body pillow!

Best "Big Brother" Moment: When you ask Trace where is sister is, he will lift up his shirt and point to his belly!  

What I am looking forward to: Getting nursery together (Very Very behind) and finishing the Big Boy room 

Doctor Appointment: Went well. She is measuring about 2 weeks bigger than normal! Those stats up top are for a normal size baby. I guess she is going to be my chubby baby!
