Both playing games on a cell phone! And I wonder why no one in this house hears what I say! Oh boy!

I love Christmas Cards
Christmas cards are so much fun. Once a year you get to design a card with your favorite family picture, put a cute saying on it and send it to everyone you know. It is the best way to keep those distant friends and families in the loop on your growing family. I love, love, love to get mail this time of year. I think every Christmas or Holiday card shows the individuality of the person who created it. I like to display all of the cards on our refrigerator in a collage. When the season is over (like around Valentine’s Day! ha) I put all of the cards we received in a BIG envelope so we can look at them for years to come!
So which design will our house choose:
Maybe this one with the Boys in it:
Or this one! A little collage of our year!
Or even a simple photo card!!
Shutterfly has always been my go to place when it comes to holiday cards. I even like to make photo books, thank you cards, birthday invitations or order my regular prints. The possibilities are endless. This year in addition to the holiday cards I am making a calendar for the Grandparents. What better way to say I love you from the grandbabies then to have a calendar of them the whole year!!
Hurry over to Shutterfly to get your free gift just for blogging!
1 Month
Trace Daniel is 1 month! I cannot believe how fast it has gone! He is such an easy baby and we are so blessed for that! He loves to sleep!! So what is he up to:
- -Eats 5-6 oz every 3-5 hours
- Wears 0-3 month clothes
- Loves to be outside
- Sleeps from 12:30-5:15 AM
- Coo and Goo (especially at Trenton)
- Took first road trip to Del Rio and did AMAZING in the car
- Went to your first movie “Megamind” (slept through the whole thing)
- Not sure on weight/length until we go back to doctor in a couple weeks
And just because he is so darn cute here are some more pictures of Trace at 1 month!
Christmas Parade
It is so much fun living in a smaller community outside of a very big city. Going to a Christmas parade in Houston would be an all day event. You would have to battle millions of people for a “just ok” spot and not really get to enjoy it. Every year League City has it’s annual parade and festival. I promised Trenton we would go, just the two of us, and so we did. He had so much fun watching it with all of his neighbor friends. Thanks to those friends we actually had really good seats for the parade. Trenton got a red light up sword and you would have thought he just won the lottery! All in all it was a great time and I can’t wait until next year when Gene and Trace get to join us!

My little handsome man waiting patiently for the parade to start
A little sword fight while waiting
This picture just makes me realize what a big boy he is becoming!
Oh My Goodness! I told them to pose and this is what I got. BOYS!
The rare Mommy and T shot!
Trenton favorite part (except for the Blue and Red Santa’s)
Clapping to the beat of one of the CCISD bands!
Just the boys kicking back, watching the show!!
