Julia’s Jumping Gymnastics Party

On Saturday T was invited to his friend Julia’s 3rd birthday party at her gymnastics facility. I was kind of worried how this would go, but the teachers were so good. They had everyone sit in a circle to get all stretched out, then they headed to the obstacle course! Then it was FREE PLAY! All the kids got to jump on trampolines, play in the moonwalk and even jump into the foam pit! It was definitely a super fun birthday! Thank you to Julia and her parents for inviting us!

All Boy!

So we got home Wednesday from Sea World and decided to head to Daddy’s game. I thought for some reason I would let Trenton take his dump truck to the game. I was hoping to keep him busy. Well on the way out after the game T was running super fast and before I could even say anything went face first off the curb! OH EM GEE! I stayed pretty calm and just wanted to make sure he had his 2 front teeth and no broken nose. Well everything was in its place so we called Coach Harmon to come check him out! He had a few boo boo’s, but nothing big.

I totally didn’t get a picture right after it happened so this is a MAJOR improvement about a week later! His lip was so swollen you could barely understand him! I win Parent of the Year! Thank you very much! DSC06202

This is from this Saturday so as you can see he is healing nicely. Thank You Neosporin! He will be in Tip Top shape for his Birthday party in a couple weeks! DSC06233

Sea World – Spring Break

Since Dad had to work over Spring Break I decided to go with my Mom and Sister’s family to San Antonio. This would be T’s first time to Sea World and I was so excited. I haven’t been since high school so I knew it would be a blast. My sister has 3 older kids so I really had a lot of help with my little guy! We woke up the morning of our Sea World day to some very disappointing weather. It was FREEZING and raining. Our spirits were a little down so we started looking at other indoor options. After some brunch and a lot of prayers the sun came out and we headed to Sea World! Note to anyone who plans to go to Sea World. RENT their stroller rather than taking your own. So much easier for kids to get in and out of!

At the entrance! So excited!DSC06117

This clown was so hilarious! He entertained us before the show started and he ended up being one of their lead divers! DSC06157

This was at the Azul show. I do not remember what animal this is, but their tricks were pretty cool. DSC06170

The dancing dolphins were by far T’s favorite. He still watches the video of this show over and over! DSC06172 DSC06173

Of course what trip would be complete without penguins?!?DSC06176

Just hanging around the Penguin exhibit! We probably went through this 5 times! DSC06178

T won his very own frog by throwing a baseball and knocking down all the milk jugs! DSC06180

AND this is what happens after No nap, Cotton Candy, Ice Cream and Candy! MAJOR MELTDOWN before the Shamu show!DSC06184

And the main attraction SHAMU! This show was not nearly as cool as it used to be due to the unfortunate accident in Orlando, but still fun! DSC06193

T was making his toy Shamu swim as he watched the show!DSC06198 DSC06199

This was such a fun day and my camera ran out of batteries so I didn’t get pictures of ALL of the shows. I can’t wait to go back and take Daddy. They have a nice water park during the summer so we plan to go back for that! Thanks Pena Family for inviting us on your trip!

Family Fun

Last weekend we enjoyed a visit Gene’s parents aka Grandma and Big Dog! They came in town on Friday evening and spoiled Trenton until Sunday! Saturday we headed to Gene’s baseball game (which I have to confess is our first real game of the season to attend). Gene’s parents are his biggest fans! Next to us of course!! We have been so lucky to have yucky weather during the week and beautiful weather on the weekends! I am certainly not complaining about the rainy week, as long as the sun promises to come out on Friday-Sunday! Gene’s Dad is a baseball coach as well so we only get to see them a few times during the season. I believe they will be back in April for Mr. T’s 3rd Birthday Bash!

We are very much a sunglasses family. We all have several pairs and act like Vampires in the sun we don’t have them on. We have rubbed off on Trenton!

Sharing snacks with Mollie! (T is totally cheesing for someone else’s camera!)DSC06100

Think they are discussing the game, the snacks or the fact that they are tired of having their picture taken?DSC06103

Weekend Work

We have had some pretty beautiful weekends lately and along with beautiful weather comes yard work. I have been working to get our front yard in order for Spring and what a project that has been. Trenton must have sensed I needed some help so decided to join in while I was pulling weeds in the front flower bed! I promise these are the before pictures!

DSC06079

In the process of helping me he came across a few worms and this was the initial reaction:DSC06081

And of course I think worms are fun to pick up so that’s what we did! See Mom!DSC06076 DSC06077

Then he realized what he was holding!DSC06078We also did some yard work this weekend on the back yard and Trenton’s little tractor came in quite handy for hauling mulch and soil to the back and garbage to the front.  He was so excited to get to help and Mommy was happy too because after 5 hours of working in the yard, hauling endless amounts of bags to the front was not my idea of fun!  T is such a big help and is growing up so fast!
