I see you

Trace is at the stage where he LOVES to see his image in a mirror. It is so much fun to watch him giggle at himself! We have had a hard time with tummy time due to all of his spit up issues, but we are slowly getting there. I guess a little extra spit up on the blankets won’t hurt! Trace has also decided that he needs to spend more time with Mommy and misses seeing his Daddy all the time so he now wakes up at 5:30 AM! I love it because Trenton is still asleep and I get to spend one on one time with him! Gene also gets home after Trace is in bed most nights so he gets to see him first thing before he leaves! What an awesome way to start his day!

I always find this caterpillar mirror leaning on his face! He like the lights and sounds it makes when you move it!  DSC07786

Bath Time

Trace loves to take a bath. He is very particular though. He must have the water running the entire time on his feet, the warm wash cloth must be on his tummy and he LOVES to have the clean warm water drizzled into his mouth! Bath time is fun, but once it comes to an end you can bet that my sweet boy is fast asleep within minutes!

Tubby boy! Who needs a paci in the tub when you have fingers!

I think he is scared of the camera! HAHA! He always looks so frightened when I take his picture!

Exhausted

I guess school wore this little angel out today! He slept in his car seat for about an hour after we got home. Just enough time for me to finish dinner!

My little Valentines

Valentine’s Day was a bad one in our house. Trace got hit with the stomach bug so we were all dressed and ready to go to school until he had a major accident all in his seat and cute little outfit! We ended up staying home and watching movies all day! I was so happy that Trenton had his V-Day party the Friday before. At least he didn’t miss out! Trenton and I made very special chocolate covered pretzels and strawberries for Daddy. We also had Trenton’s favorite meal shrimp, pasta, covered in garlic butter sauce! It ended up being a great day with my boys…minus all the puking and diarrhea from Trace! That evening Trenton also went to all of the neighbors houses and gave the kids a Valentine’s card and the Mom’s a chocolate covered strawberry! Such a sweet boy!

Best picture I got of my big boy!

A giraffe can make it all better

I love that Trace is really starting to enjoy grasping toys and playing! He has so much love for this little giraffe! He can be screaming at the top of his lungs and you show him that thing and he just giggles!! He will lay on the floor and just hold it in his arms! He occasionally tries to eat it’s head and legs, but that’s what it is meant for!

Do you see the grip he has on that thing! If you notice big brother is right next to him and has a bad habit of snatching toys from my sweet baby!

A typical morning around the Flores house!

Multi Tasking

DSC07772

Sweet Trace loves to sit in his Bumbo while I am in the kitchen. It’s nice to have him sit and play while I get dinner ready! Gives me the chance to spend time with him and do other things!! I also still use his little bath tub and put it in the kitchen sink. I can cook, load the dishwasher and bath him all at the same time!! It has been really hard trying to balance work and home the past few weeks, but I am a master at multi tasking so why not spend some QT with my baby boy and get stuff done!!
