Oh TWO-dles! Trace turns 2

How is my sweet baby 2? I honestly feel like I was just pregnant with him. He is growing up so fast and having Peyton has made me worried that I would miss out on so much with him, but he would never let that happen! Trace loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so that was the theme of his party! We had a great time celebrating with friends and family! We were worried the weather wasn’t going to cooperate, but it ended up being a nice day.

I made Mickey Mouse chocolate covered oreos! A staple at all of my kids parties!

We served some great food and drinks! The kids LOVED the Mickey Mouse straws. (my floor however, did not!)

 

I found these super cute Mickey Ears at Wal-Mart! saved me a lot of time of making my own.

Trace is 2

How did you go from 0 to 2 so fast! Everything about you my little friend is fast! You have accomplished all milestones early and I am beside myself that we are celebrating your 2nd birthday! You are my stubborn little tornado! We are learning everyday how manage you. You can be super sweet and kind one minute and quite the stinker the next. You certainly have your pre-school teachers fooled! You are spoiled by all of the teachers. You are incredibly intelligent and I think that’s where a lot of frustration comes from. You know exactly what you want, but just can’t communicate it all the time.

• Diaper: Size 4 (working really hard on potty training!)
• Motor Skills: You have exceeded most kids your age! You can jump with both feet off the ground, skip, kick, throw and aim accurately!

UH Game – 2002 Conference Champs Honored

October 27, 2012 UH honored the 2002 Baseball Conference USA Champions and my sweet husband was one of the players that year. Gene and I were going to make it a day date, but our little man decided to join the festivities! Trenton had a great time playing with all of our college friends kids. It’s so fun to see our kids grow up together, much like we did in college! We made many life long friendships and hope our kids will do the same. We had unlimited food and drinks thanks to the H Association. This is the athletic alumni association that we are apart of. They really take care of the former and current players!

I love this kid! We had a blast hanging with him all day. Kind of forget what it is like to only have 1 child!

Crystal and I married close friends! We are lucky to have such a great friendships!

Becky really pushed for Gene and I to start dating. She liked me a lot more than his current girl at the time! It was fate (and Becky Crain) that brought us together 10 years ago!
