A Boaters World

Sunday was one of those days where I got little to no sleep, housework was out of control, laundry needed to be put away and all I wanted to do was sleep. Gene suggested we take out the boat. I was hesitant because of all of the stuff that needed to get done, but bargained with Gene. I said if he helped with the house stuff we would go. It actually worked! I wonder how many more times this will work?!? We all split up and the house was done in a matter of minutes. We packed up the boat and headed out. It is so amazing what a few hours on the water can do for your stress level! I love that Trenton really enjoys the boat now. Makes it much more relaxing for us.

We have started to use our little camera and the pictures are great, but it’s easier to capture these moments without the fear of dropping my nice camera in the water!

I can’t say it enough how much I love having  a boat. It is one of the best investments we have made. I asked Gene if he thinks I will still be going out in a couple of months! I will be HUGE so we will see!

Congrats Joseph and Sonya 7/10/10

Saturday evening my younger brother Joseph married his fiancé Sonya. It was an evening wedding and outside! In July that means hot, hot, hot! Trenton was going to stay with my niece, but we decided that we would take him with us. With that last minute decision came an outfit dilemma. I ran to a resale shop down the street and found the nicest shirt and dress shoes and paid less  than $15 for both!! I love a good deal. My brother asked me to read in their wedding as well, which was such an honor. I read 1Corinthians13. It is the most amazing verse about love and I am very happy that my brother found love. Trenton was very well behaved during the ceremony and ran around like a crazy child during the reception. He and my niece Mandi just love each other! They ran, danced, kissed, hugged and had the best time. I am so glad we took him with us. Kids are so cute at weddings!

I am feeling pretty big these days. Finding a nice dress to wear was difficult, but I did it. Don’t we look awesome!

And pretty much from there on we danced the night away! As many of you know Gene and I love to dance. Well I think Trenton has gotten that gene because this boy never sat down!

I can’t believe my little brother is married! My little sister Kym is the last one to tie the knot! After that all 5 Riley kids will be married! My parents are very proud and really enjoyed themselves. It was great to see our family together having a great time!! We are very lucky to have such a close family!
