Symptoms: I get tired walking to my car, the printer at work….standing up!

Best Moment to this week: Trenton felt the baby move and then shook my tummy and said “Hey brudder come outta there”. He also came over to my tummy, kissed it and said (as he placed his cup of water to my belly) “Here, brudder was thirsty too”

What I am looking forward to: Ordered swatches for bedding. A rainy weekend on the couch!

FUN FACT: I measured my belly when I was first pregnant and it was 32. I decided to measure it today and it was 39! Holy smokes!

Happy Father's Day

I have an entire post about how we spent our Father's Day weekend, but haven't gotten around to it. I do however want to tell my Daddy that I love him very much and would not be the person I am today without him! We are all lucky to have such an incredible Dad who is there for us no matter what.
Trenton is pretty blessed too. Gene is a great father and he is so excited to become a Dad again. Its amazing how much he has grown as a parent in the last 3 years! Trenton loves him and they are best friends. He wants to be just like his Daddy! We love you honey and I hope you had an amazing Father's Day Weekend in Del Rio on the lake!!
Like father like son......
Trenton always wants to wear the same hat as his Daddy!
Classic picture. Gene is an incredible baseball player, coach and leader! Trenton has learned so much from him already and it will only get better from here! Gene is an incredible father because of his own Dad. Big Gene is an amazing Grandpa and Father in Law. I couldn't have asked to be surrounded by better men. I can't wait to meet our new little man in October!

G-O Gobblins

Tuesday was Trenton’s first t-ball game. I was a little nervous as to how it would go since he wasn’t super keen on practice last week. We got there early so we could get his shirt and hat. A few minutes later Daddy showed up and Trenton couldn’t stop smiling! He was so proud to be playing baseball for Daddy (let’s see how he feels when he is 12). Our neighbor Scott is also on his team and I think that made things a lot easier too. So the plan for the game was Daddy help the team and Mommy cheer and take pictures. Well it ended up with Dad on the field and Mom taking pictures and working the dugout! I have to admit I had a blast! We have an awesome set of kids and an even better set of parents. We support each other and cheer for everyone. We really are lucky!

How cute are they! Trenton looks so much like Gene in his uniform. I’m sure this conversation was all about defensive strategies!

He is just so darn cute in his uniform! He is waiting for the hitter so he can hopefully field the ball and throw to first!DSC06577

Got it! Now throw to 1st!DSC06578

Always takes time from his game to smile for Mommy!DSC06580

I just want to eat him up. He is so cute! He loves this “baseball ready” position.DSC06584

Fishing like a big boy

Well this weekend we have been battling a weird fever. Not sure what the deal is, but Trenton’s fever has been up and down since Friday. Saturday evening we decided to try to take him out on the boat. Worst case he didn’t feel well and we would head home. Trenton has really developed a love for the boat. It has been a long and bumpy road, but we have finally made progress! Last weekend he decided to climb out of my lap so he could catch a fish with his net. From that moment on he has loved the boat. It takes him a few minutes to realize he isn’t going to fall off and then he is fine. Now I am the one with all the nerves. The more he moves the calmer my fears get. My little boy is growing up so fast. I guess that’s why we are having another one right now, so he can teach his brother to be brave! Daddy is teaching Trenton how to cast his fishing pole. He now has a Spider Man and Transformers one to practice with. He is getting pretty good. By next year he might be able to go fishing with Dad while little brother stays home with Mommy!

On the move! I could barely get the camera out I was so excited!   DSC06529

Our little fisherman! This year fishing…next year tubing! DSC06530

Dad is a brave soul! I would rather be hot than climb in the creek/lake water! It’s a little brown for me! DSC06531

Drew decided to climb over from their boat on to ours to show Trenton how to do some real fishing! DSC06532

Trenton camped out on the back of the boat for most of the time we were anchored! I can’t say it enough how proud I am of him! DSC06533

My little cheese ball! He is very proud of himself! DSC06534

Dad decided to get in on the action! That smile is hilarious! DSC06536 At one point we beached the boat and the boys were fishing from the side and the pier. A nice man decided to dump some shrimp and Drew had a field day hooking them and throwing them to catch a fish. We just kept Trenton to his simple cork for now. Shrimp will come later. DSC06537

How cute are these boys! Drew is so good with Trenton. As a matter of fact all of the Jefferies boys are amazing with Trenton. It is like he has 3 big brothers!   DSC06540

This is something I never thought I would see, Trenton running back to the boat with excitement!DSC06541

So when the boat is moving I am sitting here usually and he is on my lap. He tells me “hold me tight” Mommy! I guess a little bubble gum makes sitting alone all better! DSC06544

Here is what is fun about going out with friends on two boats, they take pictures of you! I am not the hottest thing around, but preggo so it’s ok! I think its a cute family photo!fising 3

Incredible picture Gretchen took of Trenton fishing off the pier fising

Mommy and Trenton. Rare that we EVER get a picture together! fising 2

AND completely off topic, but thought this was cute. Trenton must have found the camera and decided to take a few pictures. This is the only one that wasn’t completely dark. Look at that cute foot. DSC06518

1st T-ball Practice

When I signed Trenton up for T-Ball I envisioned that I would be relaxing in a chair on the side lines while Daddy did practice with him. Well with Daddy’s new interim head coaching job Mom and Little T are on their own! It took him a bit to warm up to the idea of playing with a bunch of kids he didn’t know, but once he relaxed he had so much fun. He really is a good hitter and we have an incredible team!!  I was a little nervous about T having to hit off the tee because at home he prefers to hit the ball when we throw it to him.  The parents were very energetic and involved! The kids decided that since we were dark green we would be called the Gobblins and apparently very few parents have washed WHITE baseball pants because that’s what they all voted for. I voted BLACK! All in all it was fun and I hope Daddy can make it to the next few because this Mama was hot and sick the whole time!! I also didn’t get a lot of pictures because I was busy helping him on the field!

Waiting in line to hit the ball!DSC06517

The coach had the boys practice fielding the ball with their hands first no gloves! Good idea coach!DSC06515

19 Weeks

DSC06513 Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 19 Weeks

Size of baby: 6 inches long and weighs 8.5 ounces. He is the size of a large heirloom tomato!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 4lbs
Maternity Clothes: 100% in maternity clothes. I wear dresses ALOT, but had to wear maternity jeans to work!

Gender: BOY!!
Movement: I feel him move a lot now. He likes to kick very low! Becoming more active during the day than at night.

Food Cravings: Just food!! I can’t stop eating!

What I miss: Cool weather!

Sleep: Sleeping ok  because I am completely exhausted by bed time, but have INSANE dreams. Had a dream I had an ultrasound and my baby only had one giant eyeball, but my OB didn’t seem concerned. He said he already ordered an extra eye for him! WHAT?!?

Symptoms: The heat and stress of chasing my 3 year old apparently makes me really sick in the evenings! Also feeling a lot of round ligament pain.

Best Moment this week: Being told “I can’t believe you are almost 20 weeks, you look amazing” And I was in a swimsuit!!

What I am looking forward to: Doctor Appointment on June 16. Get to hear heart beat!

Still the Queen of the House

Well by now everyone knows we are having another little boy. It has taken me a while to come to peace with this (not sure why). I guess I really just wanted a little girl. I am learning over the last week why I am having boys!

There is nothing better than my sweet 3 year old waking up and giving me a BIG hug and kiss and telling me how much he loves me!

I like being outside, chasing lizards and catching frogs. I don’t know how precious a little girl in a tu-tu would be trying to catch a frog!

I love that when we are somewhere completely inconvenient for T to go potty that we can always find a place to go (some people say that’s gross, but it’s better than peeing in his pants).

The fact that a bandaide and a kiss from Mommy solves all injuries.

And finally I married a coach. We do sports year round. I have boys to pass on my husbands athletic legacy and one day will get to travel to watch them play sports. I love my boys and I am really excited to have another one!

With summer in full swing (or at least it feels that way outside) we have been enjoying quite a few popsicles and we introduced T to watermelon! HE LOVES IT! DSC06504

Why wouldn’t I want to be surrounded by more handsome faces like this! DSC06509

I am such a proud Mommy and wife. I love my boys and can’t wait to meet this next little sweetie pie! Maybe we will try for a 3rd in a couple years!! :)

18 Weeks

Last Tuesday I was officially 18 weeks. I am a little late posting this, but better late than never. We were so excited about our ultra sound! DSC06502 Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 18 Weeks

Size of baby: 5.5 inches long and weighs 7 ounces. He or she is the size of a bell pepper!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 2lbs
Maternity Clothes: I am wearing a belly band for most of my pants and since it is so hot outside I am wearing a lot of dresses. I am pretty much out of regular clothes for a while!

Gender: BOY!!

Food Cravings: Just food!!

What I miss: I really can't say I miss a thing other than uninterrupted sleep.
Sleep: I'm sleeping ok other than the dreams that wake me up nightly.

Symptoms: Crazy dreams! I am sick every time I brush my teeth (same as with Trenton). I have to breath heavily to avoid puking to all the awful smells in grocery stores and other public places.

What I am looking forward to: 3D/4D Ultra sound in a few weeks. My Dr. uses old school equipment.
