So I swore that Trace looked identical to Trenton as a newborn. Well in looking back at pictures I was wrong. Trace looks more like Trenton at 3 months. You can definitely see similarities!

Everyone jokes around about how Trace’s hair is a lot more calm than Trenton’s. Well after we started to wash Trace’s hair it did the same things as Trenton’s. I just put lotion on it to keep it tame. I now see how silly sweet Trenton looked with his crazy hair!
Yesterday at the doctors office Trace’s umbilical cord decided to fall off. Yes, after a week! That means we can give him a bath now! We have been giving him sponge baths, which he HATED, but tonight I decided to pull out his tub and see how he would react. He loved it!! He was so relaxed the whole time.

And just because my babies are so cute. Trenton insisted to hold Trace while he watched Toy Story 3 for the millionth time this week!
Trenton has been such a big helper. He loves to hold Trace and feed him. I can’t believe how much he loves his little brother. I am so happy that he wants to help. Makes our lives much easier.
Trace was 1 week old on Wednesday! I can’t believe he is already a week old!! Trace is such a great baby! He loves to sleep. I mean really loves to sleep. He sleeps 90% of the day. He has started staying more alert during the day, but can only handle about 30 minutes before he is out again! His schedule for eating is about every 4 hours and he sleeps from midnight to 4:30 AM most of the time. I really don’t feel super sleep deprived (for now). I hope it doesn’t change too much! He eats about 2 oz (sometimes 3 oz at night). We had a doctor appointment on Thursday and we have decided to change pediatricians. I am so happy we did. She said Trace looks really healthy.

It was nice to get out of the house a bit. However, all the walking wore this Mama out.
