For Father’s Day weekend we headed down to Del Rio to spend the weekend on the lake. Traveling with a 3 year old and pregnant woman make for an extra long trip! We got there late Friday night and were greeted by Gene’s parents,sister and a whole lot of BBQ! I have to admit I was a little afraid of staying in campers on the lake, but it ended up being so relaxing. I didn’t take many pictures because I was enjoying peace and quiet. Trenton and Raelynn had so much fun running around together. Saturday morning Trenton and I walked down to the park and later that day we went down to the water. Mommy and Daddy even got some alone time with friends out on the boat!! The water on Lake Amistad is so clear. We just sat on floats and enjoyed our time together! Saturday night (after I took a VERY long nap) we had more friends and family come out and we had a fish fry! It was a great weekend and we headed home early on Sunday. Hopefully we can do it again before summer ends.
