When the weather gets cooler Trenton seems to favor his easel that we have in the garage. He got it last year for Christmas and used it all of the time, that is, until spring got here. With the weather being cooler, some days and the days being shorter he enjoys spending time painting. Gene has a TV out there so I just turn on cartoons and he will play for hours! And hey, its the garage so who cares about the mess! Well the other day he was super quiet and any parent knows that is not a good thing. I went to check on him and found this:
He said he was Rudolf! They had been coloring and painting pictures that day at school about Rudolf and that was ALL he could talk about!
I also found this:
Thank goodness for washable paint! He was very proud of his new ride!
A couple of days later I came into the garage to check on him and found him painting monsters on the garage floor. I didn’t mind it because it was the garage, but suggested he stick to the paper (just in case he decides to paint or color on my walls one day!)
