Our lives changed forever on October 27, 2010. We welcomed Trace Daniel to our family and couldn’t have been more blessed. Trace has been such an amazing addition to our family and I can hardly believe a year has already flown by! I thought it would be easy to celebrate his 1st birthday, but it’s not. It means my little baby is growing up faster than I can imagine. He is so smart and always on the go! I feel like it was just yesterday that Gene and I were getting up at 4AM to head to the hospital! I am so blessed to be his Mommy and we are both so proud of him already!
In true Stacy fashion I felt it was necessary to celebrate his 1st birthday all week! His teachers were cracking up because they had to keep checking the date to make sure they didn’t miss his birthday! When I dropped him off today his teachers said they bought him a cake and were going to party! They love him so much! It is going to be a very sad day when he moves up to the “big kid” room in January. I don’t want him to grow up.
You may notice in all of these pictures he is eating, but that’s the only time I can get him to stand or sit still long enough for a picture!
This is his Tuesday shirt!
So what has changed now that he is a year old:
- Makes car sounds
- Walks everywhere
- Thinks he can run around with the big kids (this includes riding the tractor with his brother)
- Can say Football and Stop It
Wednesday Shirt – This is big brothers 1st birthday shirt!
Happy Birthday Trace!! This is today October 27, 2011! 1 whole year after my sweet boy came into our lives! Trace you are feisty, fearless and always smiling. You bring so much happiness to your Dad, Brother and I! I can’t believe you walk, talk, have teeth, drink milk and drink from a sippy! I can’t believe how different you are from your big brother!
I really think he looks so much older in this picture!
We will continue to celebrate his birthday tonight with cake and then next weekend his 1st Birthday party!! There may or may not be a haircut in between as well (we will see if I can do it).
