So You Think You Can Dance.....

OMG! For all you non-texters out there that means Oh My Gosh! Trenton loves music and dancing. I have to emphasize the word LOVE. Any time music is on he is a dancing fool. Finally yesterday after his nap I caught him breaking it down in the den! Moments like this make it all worth it to be a parent! I decided that this could be Trenton's audition tape for my favorite summer show So You Think You Can Dance! With moves like this he is sure to WIN!

If you don't totally crack up during this video then you must not have children. They love to dance and Trenton has now figured out how to clap and dance! He has such rhythm....he gets that from both of his parents! Gene and I love to dance! We actually love to country dance...something you may not have known about us! Cute story: Gene asked me to dance one night 6 years ago and I said yes and we have been together ever since! Love at first sight I guess you could say! (I guess you could say I am still a little mushy about my hubby since we just had out anniversary)

My favorite things to do in 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!

We spent New Year's at our house with some friends. Grandma and Grandpa Flores came in town to spoil their grandson! Our New Year celebrating has definetly changed since Trenton has joined our family! We ate and did fireworks and unlike many of our friends we made it to midnight! first time in 2 years! Gene and I have had the last couple of weeks off together and it has been such a joy to spend this time with our son! Trenton is growing up so fast and getting smarter by the minute. He loves to help Mommy and Daddy around the house. Here are a few things that he helped with over the break!

Daddy & Trenton washing the cars!

I love this picture! My boys washing Daddy's new truck

Trenton helping Mommy unload the dishwasher! I wonder how long he will think this is fun?!?

Coloring with his new crayons and books he got from Santa!

And last but certainly not least, BLOGGING like Mommy!

We can hardly beleive that in just a few (4) short months Trenton will be 2! He is on his way to the Terrible Two's, but he is still as sweet as can be. Trenton also started at his new school which has been very difficult transition. He has developed what I call "The Mommy Syndrome". He is so scared that I am going to leave him that he has officially attached himself to my leg! It was sweet at first, but now difficult. He does everything I do and must be every where I am otherwise he throws a massive temper tantrum. I hear this is normal, but very trying for a first time Mommy! His independence still comes out it just takes a little longer!
I hope that everyone is blessed with an awesome 2009!
