This time last year......

Let the countdown to Trenton's 2nd Birthday continue! Gene and I were looking through our rather large selection of pictures and as we were doing this I started to cry! I don't mean shed a tear and move on kind of cry. It was more like a Lifetime movie kind of cry! We could not believe how little Trenton was just 1 year ago! I am still thinking these are the wrong photo's and surely my more than honest friends are going to call me out BLOGSTYLE! Well I am pretty sure last year Trenton was making a huge mess with his food, crawling around on all fours and saying a few words like Dada and Slugga! It is so amazing to watch him grow and learn! He is a super smart guy and has the best personality! I was watching a video of him and I couldn't believe how I actually remember that exact moment! I mean it's like it was happening all over again! So if I am getting this emotional and he is only turning 2, I wonder how kindergarden will go or getting his drivers license or his first date or when he leaves for college OR when he gets married!!! Ha! Ok so I may be taking it a little far, but I am still so amazed with how awesome it is to be a Mom! There are so many things I have learned and so many things I want to teach Trenton! Ok Ok enough of the blah, blah, mushy stuff! We still have 2 months to go. Here are some pics from This Time Last Year!

Eating....I guess that's what you call it

Awww...that chubby little smile!

Innocent

Still not walking, but wearing Mommy's favorite onsie!

BLUE EYES! BLONDE HAIR! WHO'S KID IS THIS?!?

One final thought. Since I have joined the blogging world I have been able to become a part of several families that I truly do not know. There are so many couples out there that have struggled to have children or are currently struggling to keep their new babies alive. I pray for their families every night. I pray that He will heal those children and bless those families the way me and all of my friends have been blessed. I have learned that life is not about the amount of stuff you have, but more importantly the amount of love you have in your life. Gene and I are thankful everyday that our 5 week premie came home when we did and had no complications. We know that Trenton is a blessed child and I know He will take care of all of the other families I have grown to love!
