Saturday morning my friend Kim was nice enough to have us over for an early play date! We had such a great time playing with Brady and Cooper! We were upstairs in the playroom when Cooper thought that tickling would be fun. Well I decided to join in the fun and then the boys took it! They rolled around on the floor and dog piled each other and giggled “tickle, tickle, tickle” in these sweet high pitched little voices! Brady’s was the best and Kim has got to capture that on camera. It is so great that our boys are growing up together!!
Brady, Trenton and Cooper rolling around!
DOGPILE!PEEK A BOO I see you!!
Cooper had a busy day with it being Mother’s Day weekend so he had to leave to meet up with some family for lunch. Trenton and Brady were ready to play outside so out we went. Brady decided to water the plants and Trenton which led to us stripping down the boys to their diapers and playing in the sprinkler! Mrs. Kim got Trenton over his fear by running through them with him! YAY!
Here he goes!
Our boys are dedicated to the game…Can’t go anywhere without their bats!!!
Mom, can I join Brady in the sandbox?!? Ha!
Take me out to the ball game…Ha! JK
Mother’s Day at Houston Zoo
I began my morning with Gene getting up with Trenton while I relaxed in bed. Then he made us breakfast, we packed up and headed to the zoo!
Last year we started a tradition with my family by spending Mother’s Day at the zoo. We always have so much fun. My parents, sister’s family, younger brother’s family and my younger sister all met up to spend the day with some wild animals! We always have fun and it is nice to pack lunch, drinks and walk around seeing all of the animals. Trenton was so awesome! He knows all of the animals and their sounds. He was super excited to see the animals. We took his wagon and saw all that we could see.
Daddy and Trenton
Trenton climbed through the tunnel all by himself!
It was such a hot day. Trenton and Daddy are taking a rest before we move on with our journey!
Trenton watching the elephants
The Mama and baby elephant are holding trunks! How sweet is this. Happy Mother’s Day to her! She deserves it too! The Mama and baby were rocking back in forth the whole time. Just like we do with our babies!
Running
to see the lions!Daddy showed Trenton how to take the water and pour it on his head and neck to stay cool. Boys I tell ya!

Acting goofy!
I love his laugh sooo much!
We wrapped up our Mother’s Day by taking out our new boat. Limited pictures as we were learning a lot about 2 year olds and boats! Trenton actually liked it once we got going! He is going to be tubing in no time! We are definitely boat people and I know this is a good investment. It was a nice end to an awesome day!
Daddy and Trenton driving!
LOL! He looks like a turtle…he didn’t seem to mind!
I want to say that I am lucky to have so many great Mom’s in my life. My Mom is incredible and it really wasn’t until I became a Mom that I realized this! My sister is super Mom and my sister in law is pretty good herself. All of these women have so many different qualities that they add to our family! I am thankful everyday that my parents are still married and are so involved in all of our kids lives! I also have to give a special thank you to my Mother in Law. She is a pretty great woman herself. Her patience astounds me! I am lucky to have her in my life…she did a pretty awesome job in raising my hubby! To all of the Mom’s out there you are blessed to be called a Mom and I learn so much from all of you! Thank you for being a part of my life….even those of you that don’t really know me!
