On Saturday our Bible Study hosted a baby shower for Shannon and little Miss Bailey who will join us in April! With it being baseball season it is pretty guaranteed that anywhere I go I will have Trenton in tow. Well Mr. Jeff Brewer offered to take Trenton and Brady to the zoo while we enjoyed the shower. Yes, HE OFFERED! I have to say I was a little nervous because Trenton has only been on one other outing without Gene or me. So we got to the Brewer house and I honestly think Jeff was more excited than our boys! He packed them up and headed out. Mr. Jeff had BIG plans! They were going to see the animals, ride the train, have a picnic AND take pictures. Yeah, sure we would like to see you get them to sit for a picnic! Moments later we get our first text message “When should we be back?” Hmmm…when they are 18? Then the second text “WOW, Trenton can run fast…Brady is yelling No wunning Tenton” Awesome! Jeff you are a hero to Dad’s everywhere and thank you so much for taking my little one to the zoo!
Walking/Running into the zoo…. TRENTON SLOW DOWN!
Now boys being boys (no matter their age) were super excited to see the elephant. Especially when the elephant decided to go poo-poo! I am pretty sure everyone heard about the pooping elephant.
Look how sweet an adorable they look climbing up to see the giraffe!
I think Brady is still giggling about the pooping elephant!
Hey Mr. Jeff whats that over there? Catch me if you can! Ha!
Our boys monkeying around with the monkeys!
They even managed to squeeze in a little literature about the monkeys!
Scoping out the ducks. We definitely pictured them swimming in this pond rather than staring at it!
So as you can see Jeff managed to see the animals, take pictures AND have a picnic! I think he did better than the Mom’s do. I say he should be in charge of play dates while we go shopping!
We were just wrapping up the shower when the boys walked in with the biggest smiles on their faces! They had so much fun. These two really do have so much fun together and honestly make it much easier to handle them when together rather than alone! Brady is going to make a great Big Brother very soon and then he can give some pointers to Trenton later on how to handle a sister!
