I love Christmas time and I love the area we live in. There are so many things to do to celebrate Christmas. We were suppose to spend Christmas Eve with my sister’s family making cookies for Santa, but plans fell through last minute so we met up with the Burrow’s family at the Moody Gardens Festival of Lights. This was the neatest light display I have seen. They have music, sounds and even stories playing as you pass through the lights. There was an outdoor skating rink and SNOW! The night started off a little rough with two kids screaming in the parking lot to 1 happy 3 year old with cotton candy and a very, very unhappy 2 month old! Trace seems to have a hard time if we go somewhere between 4:30-6:00. He just freaks out. He pretty much cried the entire time, but we still had fun.
How cute is Trace in his Christmas hat!
Short solution for the screaming!
1 Happy, 1 Sad – we can’t win them all
The Burrow’s Girls
Making smores in the big firepit
YUMMM-O eating smores!
Last stop SNOW! Gene had a blast with Trenton in the snow while Trace and I watched. We may have even been hit a couple of times with a snow ball!
