Christmas time is my favorite time of the year because you get to direct your house inside and out with lights! This year we changed things up a bit and added Frosty. I couldn’t get a great picture, but here is our yard and house! Gene braved the roof in the freezing cold all by himself this year! He always does a great job!!Trenton was sick all last week which made him loads of fun to be around! He was finally able to go back to school on Thursday and this is him all bundled up ready to go! Doesn’t he looked pumped to go to school! After a week of being sick we had a very busy weekend planned! After work and school Friday we headed to Spring to stay the weekend with my sister Laurie! We had Breakfast with Santa, 2 birthday parties and a lot of shopping to get done. On top of that I had an ornament party with my girls! Saturday morning we woke up and headed to the elementary school my niece attends. Does anyone remember Secret Santa store? Well I remember going as a kid and spending a whole dollar on bubbles and bouncy balls! Well wouldn’t you know T did the same thing! He was so excited to carry his own bag of goodies! We got to take a picture with the best Santa ever! T usually bolts in the opposite direction at the site of Santa, but he seemed to LOVE this one!! We enjoyed breakfast and then headed to birthday party #1!
Ready to go see Santa with his Penguin Shop gifts! Awwww!!!! He told me “I wuv Santa” What a big boy! Mommy is very proud. This was really the nicest Santa I have ever met! AND HE WAS FREE!
Jaycie is Trenton’s favorite cousin! She would make such a good big sister! They played all weekend and she even got to babysit a little!
Donut for Jaycie and yogurt for T! He has never seen a Gogurt that isn’t frozen! In the gym-cafa-torium was this life size poster of Tim Duncan. WOW! Look how teeny T looks!
After the breakfast we headed to a carnival themed birthday party for my step nephew! T had so much fun getting his hair spray painted, tattoos, face painting, moon bounce, strong man contest and bowling! Sonya did a great job! We had so much fun and it gave me a good idea for T’s 3rd b-day!
Red hair is a good look for him!Getting his tatoo! T is totally obsessed with snakes right now! He asked the girl to paint one on his face and this is it! (She was only 12 so we will give her some credit for artistic ability!) Good thing he didn’t ask for a dinosaur! Strike! We may have a pro-bowler on our hands…HA HA Monkey Elephant LionI mentioned we went to another party, but I have to admit we started at 9 am and got to the 3rd event is was 3:30! The 2nd b-day party was for my good friend Carrie’s son Dayton. He turned 1 and chasing kids and taking pictures was not something I wanted to do! We had fun at all parties and were extremely exhausted by the time we got home!
So what happens when you have pushed your kid to the limit with no nap the day before?
ULTIMATE BREAKDOWN from the minute they wake up ‘til the minute they go to bed! We had a train show and Walk Through Bethlehem planned for Sunday that we opted out of going to because….well the pictures should explain: Poor baby! We have kept this week pretty low key! We have yet another visit with Santa this weekend and maybe a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Flores!
