Children’s Museum (picture overload)

DSC06771

With Trace on his way and work being crazy I have been trying to do things with Trenton outside of our regular weekend routines. On Saturday my friend Amanda and I packed up our boys and headed to the Children’s Museum. I have been several times, but not since the huge remodel. It is even better than before. Jayden (Amanda’s son) is 1 1/2 and he has never been so it was super cute to hear him say “Oh You See” to everything!!! We had a blast and I think the boys and the Mama’s were exhausted by the time this trip was over. I definitely want to take Trenton back before school starts!

Of course as soon as we walk in Trenton is drawn to the train! He loves to turn all of the knobs and make the “chugga chugga choo choo” sound

First (and only) craft of the dayDSC06703

Trenton is so big these days he just ran right up to all of the stations and started playing. He loved this game of rolling the golf balls into the holes. DSC06704

Trenton has a HUGE infatuation with golf balls!  DSC06710

Leggos! We love leggos! DSC06712

Trenton showing Jayden where all of the shapes go. I am so proud of him for knowing his shapes and also sharing with JaydenDSC06713

Look Mrs. Amanda let’s go this way!DSC06717

HUGE Telephone robot! He is made out of all kinds of telephones (Most of which we had as a kid)DSC06718

Bob the Builder! DSC06721

He did really good at picking up the pieces of wood and fitting them in the right spotsDSC06723

I offered to help and of course got told “No I do it, you get hurt Mommy”DSC06724

Calling Daddy from the museum to tell him about all of the fun he was having. DSC06727

My little scientist! I just think he looks so cute here! DSC06730

So something new in the museum is this GIGANTIC tower of flat disc’s suspended by cables. It starts on the 1st floor and ends on the 3rd. Or vice versa if you are Trenton. The sign said 5+, but this little dare devil climbed down the entire thing!DSC06734

Obstacle CourseDSC06735 DSC06736 DSC06737

Steps 4-5 were blocked so no pictures taken, but at the end he did get to slide down a pole like a firefighter!

J & T working together to balance the scale (or throw all of the bean bags on the floor)DSC06738

Trenton said he was “shooting a light into the Volcanos”DSC06739

Handsome JaydenDSC06740

Jayden and Mrs. AmandaDSC06741

Since Jayden was nice enough to play on all the big kid stuff Trenton returned the favor by playing in the new Tot Spot

I think Jayden camped out in this car the majority of the time! DSC06744

Trenton had a tea party! DSC06745

Climbed on the tunnel and jumped off (guess this is why 3+ is not normally admitted)DSC06746

Posing my the cow! DSC06747

Busted! I caught you in the back of a police car! Let’s hope we never see this shot when he is older!! DSC06752

The ambulance was really neat. It was equipped with all of the stuff you need to save a life. I am really impressed on how much education children get from one place!

Super excited to hear his heart! DSC06756

He immediately walked over and wanted to hear Trace! Stole my heart! DSC06757

Let’s go boys we have lives to save! DSC06760

OH NO! This is my future! First ATM TransactionDSC06763

And look what he buys LOBSTER! DSC06766

What fun day would be complete without a popsicle!DSC06770

If you have never been to the Children’s Museum I highly recommend it. I have never seen so much thought and creativity go into a place to benefit a child’s education. They had everything imaginable there. We plan to make several trips back!!
