38 Weeks

**After several attempts to get a picture alone it just didn’t happen. Mr. Cranky (with toothpaste all over his face) insisted!

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far: 38 Weeks

Size of Baby: He is a bit over 19.5 inches long and weighs about 6.5 lbs. He is the size of a leek (from head to toe).

Total Weight Gain: 25 lbs

Gender: Boy! Trace Daniel

Maternity Clothes: That is all I can wear at this point and even those are getting uncomfortable. Would like to go naked at all times!

Movement: He moves as much as he can considering the lack of space he now has! I get a lot of elbows popping out of the side of my belly and he likes to curl up and stick his little bottom in the air! I also feel a lot of low pressure and back pain!

Food Cravings: Not much room for food for fear of puking it up later!

What I Miss: Sitting comfortably! Standing for long periods of time without feeling like I walked a marathon!

Sleep: Sleep? WHAT’S THAT??

Best "Big Brother" Moment: Trenton loves to lay on my belly like a pillow!

What I am looking forward to: Meeting my little man in 5 days! Last day of work is Friday 10/22!

Doctor Appointment: Dr. McBride said we will be taking home a BIG BABY! Probably around 8 lbs or more. I still say he will be around 7 lbs 11 oz, but that’s just my guess! Pre-Op went great.

Next Doctor Appointment: October 27, 2010 @ 5 AM! We are to report to Labor and Delivery for our 7:45 (or earlier) C-Section!! Happy Birthday Trace Daniel!

Hopefully I will get a few blogs in before next Wednesday of some things we have planned with Trenton this weekend. I will hopefully do a Welcome Trace blog from the hospital or I will have Gene update as much as he can!
