Every year we try to go to a fall festival. We usually go to the one at Trenton’s school, but considering I will have a 2 day old on that day we opted to visit the festival at the elementary in our neighborhood. Our neighbors we going and I thought what could be a better way to enjoy this beautiful weather! Now being 37 weeks pregnant and walking about a mile was a challenge, but I did it and Trenton had so much fun. Of course, the first thing we did was ride the train when we got there. They had a lot of little games set up and TONS of snacks. They even had little boutiques set up inside the school! Trenton got to touch a baby sting ray too. The Kemah Aquarium had a station set up! I have to say it was a blast, but this Mama was exhausted. The things we do for our kids!!
My camera was acting goofy too so these are not the best quality of pictures!
The train
Crystal and Chase riding the train
Trenton and Scott (super excited!)
Scott was brave and got his hair spray painted. Trenton opted to buy a ring pop with his tickets!
We played a few games like……
Football toss (he made it 2 out of 3 times!)
Gone fishing
Nerf hunting (we played this one a couple times) What boy wouldn’t want to shoot nerf darts at a paper deer, hog and turkey!
The Chic-Fil-A cow! Our favorite place to eat
We even had italian ice to cool us off. Trenton wanted to show me his tongue was blue and mine was red!
And what day would be complete without a big stick of cotton candy!
Needless to say we had a great time and came home with a sugar high!
Trenton and Chase decided to grab their blankets and watch Princess and the Frog! They are so cute and having Chase at the house made me realize that our house is NOT ready for a cruising baby and neither is my energy level!
