Saturday we decided that since we just got the new boat back from getting all the much needed maintenance work done we would enjoy some much needed family time. Peyton will be arriving on Thursday so what better way to spend our last weekend without a new baby than on the boat. Gene and I both expected it to be a short boat trip with the boys because typically they don’t last long. Well we were wrong. Trace loved the boat and Trenton blew us away with his confidence! This new boat is AMAZING! I cannot believe the space we have and it is such a smooth ride. It has a very nice bench seat in the back which was such a smooth ride for this overly pregnant Mama!
My big boys chilling on the front of the boat!
Trace was so confident on the boat. He kept climbing to the front and standing up! I used to wish Trenton would do this and now that Trace does it scares me to death!
Gene could not have been more proud of his boys. I think he sees a lot of fishing trips in his future with his boys (and Peyton too)
Our new captain. Trenton did great driving us around!
Daddy and his boys checking out the view of the sailboats.
How peaceful is this picture. There were tons of sailboats out in the bay. It was the most relaxing site ever!
Gene started to head back to the dock when I said “Are we really going in”. He was shocked. We had already been out on the water for a couple of hours. He quickly turned the boat around and headed to Kemah. We decided we needed cold beverages (Icee’s for Mom and the boys) and good music.

Trenton insisted on feeding the Stingrays so we went inside to cool off and enjoy all the different fish. Trenton refused to feed the Stingrays or touch them, but he did enjoy showing little brother what they looked like.
Trenton blew me away with how many of the fish he new. Gene has taught him well.
Daddy and his boys!
My big 5 year old! This guy is getting too big too fast! He was posing next to the giant sea turtle.
OY! 9 months pregnant with my boys!
What an incredible day it was on the water. We spent about 7 hours on the boat and I could not have asked for a better way to spend me weekend before Princess arrives! Soon we will be taking out the boat with 3 kids!
