Fun Max Jump In

As a working Mom I feel like it's my responsibility to find fun and unique things to do with Trenton so that we don't sit at home watching T.V. Well today Gene & I decided to take Trenton to the park. We were there for about 5 minutes before the 30% chance of rain started coming down! Soaked & frustrated we started driving home. On the way I told Gene to stop at Fun Max Jump In to see what this place was. Well it is a moon bounce place for all ages. We went home to grab some socks and dry clothes and came back. For $4.25 we had unlimited bounce time. Parents are FREE! It took Trenton a few to warm up to the loud sounds of the moonwalk fans, but once he did he had a blast! So did Mom & Dad! This is another one of those Mommy play dates we will need to go on! It wasn't crowded at all. I think its not very popular because it tucked in the corner of a shopping center next to Specs!! All in all we had a blast! See some fun pics. Coop & Brady will have fun the next time we go! :0)

Summer Fun

A day at the Museum....

What can you do in Houston for only 5 bucks??? ALOT! The Childrens Museum was so much fun. Kim & Shannon this is a must do Mommy's day out with the boys! The Tot Spot was amazing. You can sit and talk while your kiddos run freely and play, play, play. In just this one exhibit your kids get to do so much. They have giant lava lamps that with the push of a button you can change its colors. There are bridges to walk across, soft blocks to build with, mirrors to observe what your little professor is up to. I decided to be brave and take my sisters daughters with me. I also took my younger sister Kym as back up. While Trenton and I played in the Toddler world, the big kids got to play in the other 13 amazing exhibits! I will definetly be going back. Trenton even had fun going to the other exhibits. (Slide show to follow - Way to many pics) Here are some:

Mommy & Trenton shopping in the grocery store exhibit!

I'm a Big Kid now!!

Last Sunday I decided to spend some time with Trenton at Challenger Park. He had so much sun. It's amazing how brave he is now compared to 3 short months ago! He had no problem climbing to the top of the highest slide, sitting on his bottom and weeeeeee sliding down. He did this over and over. I think it took me more time getting used to him doing it alone. We played for about an hour and a half before the heat got to us! Lets see we went through 2 full 6 oz sippies of ice col water...then I knew it was time to leave. Note to all my fun Mommy friends: Crocs don't work on the gravel at this park. Be prepared to remove the shoes (like I did) or wear tennis shoes!

We had to start on the small one for Mom!

Look Mom I did it!!

Bumpy, Bumpy, Bumpy, Bumpy!!

And for my finale, I will slide from the highest one!!

Trenton's new trick....

This is simply a story to tell about a dare devil baby and his ability to escape from his crib. On Saturday I layed Trenton down for his morning nap. As I was calmy sitting at the computer, updating my much needed blog...I listened to my sweet, sleepy and sneaky little man sing himself to sleep. OR SO I THOUGHT! Suddenly I hear la la la la BOOM! Yes ladies he flipped himself over the side of the bed. He landed on his extra soft Huggies diaper and began to shout! Irushed in there and he was layed out on the floor! I didn't know if I should cry or laugh!?!

The scariest thing so far as a parent! All is well in the casa de la Flores! (Gene is the spanish teacher not me so if thats wrong, just pretend) Trenton's bed has been lowered so we shouldn't see any more trapize acts for a while! No photos to share just words of advice. If you think your child may be tall enough, brave enough, smart enough, crazy enough to flip over the side of his bed....HE IS!
